Brian Wright-Bushman specializes in California land use and housing law, and has extensive experience working with city councils, planning commissions, and city planning staff on complex land use projects. Prior to joining Rand Paster & Nelson, Brian worked at a municipal law firm where he served as assistant city attorney in four cities and was one of the firm’s experts in housing law.
Brian particularly enjoys helping developers use the new tools available in state land use and housing law to find creative, practical, and successful solutions to complex land use issues. His experience working closely with several California cities also gives him a unique ability to understand the perspectives and processes of local governments and to leverage this understanding to achieve successful outcomes for developers.
