Who We Are
We have sat on both sides of the counter, inside the agencies that issue approvals and across the table representing the people seeking them. That perspective gives us a practical understanding of how agencies operate, which procedural decisions matter, and how to anticipate challenges before they become obstacles. It is why clients return to RPN project after project and why our attorneys are regarded as trusted, informed voices in California land use.
What We Do
We represent private and nonprofit developers, REITs, investors, property owners, and institutions from pre-acquisition due diligence through final project approval. We coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, work directly with agency staff, elected officials, and community stakeholders, and defend approvals when challenged.
When necessary, we also use litigation strategically to enforce California planning and zoning laws and protect our clients' ability to develop their properties.
