Entitlements

Our team has successfully processed thousands of entitlements throughout California, including zone changes, general plan amendments, subdivisions, coastal development permits, site plan reviews, conditional use permits, variances, builder's remedy projects, and related local approvals. 

We work closely with clients to assess the most strategic entitlement path forward, assist with the preparation and submittal of applications, work with agency staff, advocate for clients at public hearings, collaborate with elected and appointed officials and  community stakeholders, and participate in all aspects of entitlement.  We assist with all phases of development, from initial due diligence until issuance of a certificate of occupancy. Our work combines careful upfront application strategy—including preservation of relevant statutory rights—with land-use, CEQA, entitlement, and litigation expertise designed to build a defensible record and carry projects from application through final approval.
